Band
Today at Lunch - Celtic Band Rehearsal; Wednesday 7:00 pm - Celtic Band Performance at the Port Wallis United Church located at 263 Waverley Rd. Band students should arrive with instruments and music no later than 6:30 pm. Please wear Band shirt/black pants/black shoes

September 15 Thursday Band Room- lunch  - Grade 8 Band - all grade 8 band students; Thursday - after school - Christmas Band - open to all grades

September 16 - Friday -Band Room - lunch - Grade 7 Band - all grade 7 Band students.

Fundraising
Our cookie dough fundraiser will run from September 12 - 30. You should have received the forms. If you need some please contact me. Order forms with payments are due back by Thursday, October 6. Cookie dough should arrive on October 20 between 5 and 7pm.

Tomorrow – Thursday, September 15th is a big day – It Is Stand Up Against Bullying Day! Wear your pink shirts to show you will stand up against bullying.

ALSO we will have our WELCOME BACK BBQ tomorrow! Just pack snacks in your lunch bag because hotdogs and hamburgers will be served at lunch for everyone! Rain or shine!

Library:
If you have a library book at home from a previous year or even a former school, please feel free to give it to Mrs. Hamilton or put it in the drop box just outside of the library! The Library will be open for students starting today at 12:10. Please be advised that when you come to the library, you are asked to remain there until the bell, thanks

WEActors
WE ACTors will meet on Monday, Sept 19, at 12:10 in room 205 for anyone who was involved last year as well as anyone interested in joining – all welcome!

Girls Soccer
The final girls’ soccer tryout will be held tomorrow, Thursday, on the field from 3-4.
 

Boys Soccer
Signup sheets for the Boys’ soccer team have been placed on the gym doors. The first tryout will be held Thursday, September 15 at 12:10 on the back soccer field. If you have any questions please see Mr. Leveck or Mr. D’Entremont.

Curriculum Night
All parents welcome! September 22 – Thursday 6 to 8pm. There will also be a parent band meeting at 5:30pm in the Band Room that evening.
Student volunteers who can assist with various duties on Thursday Sept 22 for the curriculum evening, please submit your names to Mrs. Cottingham at the main office.

Forms forms forms!
All forms and student fees are due by Thursday, September 15, please.

Grade 7 Immunizations:
Immunization forms from the Public Health Dept. will be distributed to grade 7 students by their home room teachers this week. Once the form has been completed by your guardian or parent, please return it to your home room teacher ASAP. Homeroom teachers are asked to hold onto the forms until the Public Health Immunization Clinic on October 19 here at the school.
