A special reminder from Mr. Fraser that there will be Drum Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, and Woodwind Ensemble next Tuesday - since Monday is a holiday. Please remember to attend your ensemble class Tuesday, October 11.

Mr. Fraser is available for extra help today at lunch.
Saxophone students looking to form a separate ensemble please see me at lunch today.

Proofs will be handed out to students this week. They are due back to the school on October 13, Thursday. Photo retakes on are October 17 in the afternoon.

The grade 7 girls’ volleyball tryout tomorrow at lunch--9s’ today.
Yoga club will start next week, on Thursday, at 12:15 in the MPR room.

From Mr. d’Entremont:
Boys volleyball practice will be after school today in the gym from 3-4:15.

From Mr. Gabriel:
Cross Country runners are reminded of today's run this afternoon at Shubie.
It is very important that all students check in with Mr. Gabriel today before they leave school to confirm their drive and so that it is clear who will be registered for the run.
Mr. Gabriel will leave the school at 2:00 to meet and register runners for the 2:30 start time.

From Mr. Carruthers:
Could all students interested in playing on the school hockey team from Grades 7 , 8, and 9 please meet in Room 115 at lunch time today to sign up for hockey and to have a short, very important meeting. We are looking for a head coach, please contact Mr. Carruthers, jcarruthers@hrsb.ca. 


Pizza and Pita Pit Lunch order forms, which were handed out on Monday, are due back Thursday, October 6, please!! Teachers, please pass these orders into the office each day (no need to prepare a deposit), thank you.
