Our first School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting is scheduled for September 26th, at 5:30 PM.  All are welcome to attend and observe.  We have 1 vacant parent position to be filled before then. 
If you are interested in offering to serve in this position here is some key information and dates:
• Parent position is a 3 year commitment
• SAC meetings are scheduled monthly excluding March, December and summer break.
• Should there be more than 1 person willing to serve, an election will be held.
• Election will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016, during curriculum night.
• All parents/guardians of current Ellenvale students are eligible to vote.
• Candidates will be required to submit a brief,1 - paragraph explanation of why they should be elected to the parent SAC position no later than noon Friday, September 16, 2016.
• This explanation will be published on the school website, sent home electronically and be available at the school.
